About Us

LEADERSHIP CALGARY

The program encourages existing and aspiring leaders to work collaboratively to build a healthy and caring community.

Each year, 30 individuals representing the public, private and nonprofit sectors embark on a 10-month leadership journey. This experience provides an opportunity to gain a deeper fundamental understanding of community issues, a greater sensitivity to community diversity, and a new commitment to community cohesion and stewardship. Through this program participants establish and build an active alumni network.

The four components of the Leadership Calgary program prepare participants for the challenges of their lifelong leadership journeys.

Leadership Calgary:

develops increased person al leadership capacities,
heightens awareness of community challenges and assets,
encourages the formation of a cross-sector network of leaders,
motivates people to take action in the community.
