	Heart of Calgary Award recognizes an individual who has made an outstanding lifetime contribution to the Calgary community through their efforts as a volunteer. This individual demonstrates a passion and commitment to creating a healthy and vibrant community and serves as an inspiration for others to volunteer. Sponsored by ConocoPhillips to celebrate an outstanding volunteer who has demonstrated a life-long passion and commitment to community.
	Leader in Volunteer Management Award recognizes a manager of volunteers who demonstrates excellence and innovation in the management and leadership of volunteers for one of Volunteer Calgary's non-profit member organizations. Sponsored by Suncor Energy Inc. to recognize volunteer managers and the work they do to lead volunteers.
	Leader in Volunteer Engagement recognizes a Calgary non-profit organization that has developed an innovative and successful program or event to engage volunteers in creative ways that enhance the organization's mission and its contribution to community. Sponsored by Enbridge Inc. to recognize a successful and innovative volunteer program that advances the mission and goals of a non-profit organization.
	Leaders in Employee Volunteering recognize Calgary businesses that demonstrate leadership and innovation in workplace volunteerism. Three businesses are recognized each year in the small, medium and large business categories determined by the number of employees. Sponsored by Chevron - a wholly owned subsidiary of Chevron Corporation - to recognize excellence in workplace volunteerism.
	Leaders of Tomorrow Awards recognize young people who make a difference in Calgary through their volunteer activities. Three individuals are recognized each year in the elementary, junior high and senior high categories for their energy and commitment as volunteers. Sponsored by EnCana Corporation to recognize the outstanding efforts of youth who are making a difference in our community
	Volunteer in Profile Award recognizes an individual volunteer for outstanding commitment to a Volunteer Calgary member organization in the previous year. This award is an extension of Volunteer Calgary's partnership with CTV which broadcasts profiles of individual volunteers on a weekly basis. Individuals nominated for this Award must volunteer for a member organization of Volunteer Calgary. Sponsored by CTV to acknowledge outstanding contributions in volunteerism by an individual featured on the Volunteers in Profile program throughout the year.
	Volunteer Family Award recognizes a family that volunteers together as a team; consisting of at least one adult and one child who are related. Its purpose is to celebrate the important role of parents and other influential adults in inspiring children to become lifelong volunteers. Sponsored by Devon to acknowledge the families that contribute their time to the Calgary community.
	Volunteer Animal Award recognizes an animal that demonstrates the spirit of volunteerism through its active volunteer involvement and contribution to the community. The recipient of this award may share the honour with an individual who is a partner in the animal's volunteer activities.
